Nikken introduced a new product during its annual Convention this past week: PiMag® PiDrogen Hydrogen Generator. It is a mini-generator accompanied by its own 16 fl oz / 475 ml glass bottle. The generator produces hydrogen-rich water that is rich in antioxidants and the glass bottle allows you to drink directly from it. The device is compact and lightweight, and produces 800-1200 ppb (parts per billion), the measurement of molecular hydrogen dissolved in water.

Easy to use, the generator cycles quickly within six minutes. An exclusive programmed control system shows the hydrogenating process with a blue light. When the water is fully hydrogenated and the cycle has finished, the blue light is replaced with a flashing red light. When the PiMag® PiDrogen water is ready for drinking, the red light will turn off automatically.

Hydrogen is the first and the lightest in the periodic table of chemical elements. Scientists use the periodic table to quickly refer to information about an element, like atomic mass and chemical symbol. The periodic table’s arrangement also allows scientists to discern trends in element properties, including electronegativity, ionization energy, and atomic radius.¹

Hydrogen is a tasteless, colorless and odorless gas. When added to water, it becomes hydrogen water, hydrogenated water or hydrogenized water. Regardless of which naming convention is used, studies have shown that hydrogen water supports cellular energy production² and provides antioxidant³ and anti-inflammatory properties⁴.

Oxidative stress occurs when we exercise too much, eat poorly and breathe in polluted air, get overexposed to UV rays and drink impure water—in other words, overexposure to free radicals result in the opposite of the overall feeling of well-being we experience when well-hydrated, well-rested and nutritionally-nourished. Hydrogen water helps combat oxidative stress with antioxidants, which are believed to neutralize the effects of free radicals.

How does adding hydrogen increase the benefits of PiMag water?
